Weekend Farm Fun

We rented a car for 4 hours last weekend and went exploring the country side of Singapore.

I know if you google Singapore image, you won’t be spared the new sparkling waterfront pics. But this is the rare view of the rural part of Singapore. What’s left is a very small patch, but we’ll maybe find out more later…weekends fun, singapore, farm, kranji countryside, family, places to go, rustic, fish farm

We went to Kranji Country Side. It’s a concentration of farms which developed into eco-tours farm that kind of environmenty thing.

We stumbled into a fish farm. It was like back in the 70s, so I added some orange tint to these pics. The children had fun looking at big and small fishes. Then we found this little game where they are suppose to catch lokang fish. Only $3 for 30 min.

I helped catch one fish from there *dongdong chiang!*. Baobao caught 3. Papa, maybe

only 4

. When Baobao did not catch more, I got impatient and tried to help him again.      One step only, I sprained my right thigh..ouchie (excercise excercise !!!)weekends fun, singapore, farm, kranji countryside, family, places to go, rustic, fish farm

Then we went to Hayes Diary Farm to see goats. First we ate our lunch at the farm and bought some goat milk to go with it.  The white ones taste better than Chocolate.weekends fun, singapore, farm, kranji countryside, family, places to go, rustic, fish farm

She peeled this egg herself.🙂 Oh how fast they grow, my baby can peel her own egg..weekends fun, singapore, farm, kranji countryside, family, places to go, rustic, fish farm

Kids on the other…cruel cruel cruel…as mentioned when we visited there the last time, the kids do not drink their milk directly from mommies’ nipples for fear of infection. This time we can’t even feed the goats for the same reason! My suggestion, they should seggregate some goats out for feeding fun purpose, just to provide a more rounded eco tour experience..weekends fun, singapore, farm, kranji countryside, family, places to go, rustic, fish farm

Oh, why-oh-why can’t I feed the goats?weekends fun, singapore, farm, kranji countryside, family, places to go, rustic, fish farm

    酱很好啊,需要用到车的时候才租一辆,不用花大钱。
    照片经过后期处理,很怀旧的感觉,很想我们小时候拍的照片咧。

those pics are meant to look like 70s but I kept looking and they dun look so much as intended. Then I realise the missing link is the clothes they were wearing. Not 70s enough.

  3. Hi there, do you have a twitter account for your latest updates? ^^ so that if you have any new stuff on car posts I can be updated immediately without having to check your site daily😀
