Every month after my period ends, I will boil this Traditional Chinese Medicine soup to replenish the loss of blood.
The supermarket sells the medicine by the packet, with all the ingredient herbs in proportion. I just use this to slow boil with a black chicken in a claypot or slow cooker.
Have to clarify the actual soup is 八珍养颜汤, not 十全大补汤 as shown in the packaging above. I bought two packets and grabbed a wrong one for the second one. But they only differ by one ingredient for these two soups.
